Adding and editing text
To add text to your page, go to ‘Text’ on the left side of your screen. You will see various font options appear. You can choose from these standard fonts or add your own font. Adding your own font is done via ‘Upload Fonts’.
Please note: only WOFF files can be uploaded. Having trouble? Send an email to leslinq@leslinq.com, and we will add the font for you.
Once you have chosen a font, you can drag it to the canvas. By double-clicking on the text, you can edit it. In the panel below, you can adjust various elements: font, font size, text formatting, color, highlight, alignment, and bullet points. You can also create a link to an email address. In the text box itself, you can modify the text. To better see dark text, it’s helpful to turn off dark mode using the ‘Use Dark Mode’ button.
When you are satisfied with the text and formatting, click ‘Confirm’. You can then position the text correctly on the page. It is helpful to use the buttons below for this. Make sure that ‘Align To Page’ is checked.
If you are not yet satisfied with the text or formatting, you can easily adjust it by double-clicking on it again.
Do you want people to be able to hear the text as well? Then text to speech is a handy option. Read more here about creating text to speech files.
