Customizing SMS template
When you distribute a microlearning via SMS, participants receive a standard SMS with a link. You can customize this text or translate it into another language.
To ensure the automatic translation of a microlearning is sent correctly, a template must be available in that language. This must be created manually.
Here’s how to do it: Go to ‘Settings’, then ‘Layouts’, and click on ‘Edit SMS Templates’. You will see a screen where you can select different options:
- Message Type: Send certificate, distribution, completion of e-learning, resend e-learning.
- Language: Select the language for the template. You can choose from 32 different languages.
- Message Content
In this example, a completion message for a microlearning in Dutch is selected.
Under ‘Message’, you can customize the content. Note: Do not modify the links. These will automatically include the participant’s name, the name of the e-learning, and the link to the e-learning.
In Dutch, the translated message looks like this:
Once your template is ready, click on ‘Save Template’.
Want to customize more templates? For different languages, for example? Then select another language at the top and start editing again. The same applies to a different message type.
