General survey question
The general survey question can be used to gain detailed insights into customer preferences, user experiences, and opinions on products or services. The collected data can be displayed graphically to analyze how often a particular answer is selected by multiple participants. This allows organizations to identify trends and patterns and make targeted improvements.
Adding a General Survey Question
To add a general survey question to your project, go to the ‘Question Module’ and select ‘General Survey’.
You can now edit the question by double-clicking on the question bar or the answer options. You can also set a background for the page.
To open the question settings, select the question and click on the gear icon. Here, you can adjust various options.
In the example above, only one answer can be selected. If you want to allow multiple answers, click on ‘Behaviors’ and select ‘Allow to select multiple’.
Allowing Custom Answers
If you want users to submit their own answers, select the question and click on the gear icon. Under ‘Behaviors’, select ‘Allow To Submit Free Text’. An additional ‘Other’ option will be added to the question.
You can customize the ‘Other’ answer by double-clicking on it and changing the text to something like ‘Other’. When you preview the page and select ‘Other’, a text box will appear, allowing users to type their personalized response.
This feature provides extra flexibility for surveys, inventories, or research, allowing for customized answers.
Customizing the Style
Under ‘Style’, ‘Background’, and ‘Position and Size’, you can adjust the style, background, and position of the question. You can also add hints, a bottom bar, and animations.
Finally, under ‘On End’, you can specify what should happen after the question is submitted. In this example, after clicking ‘Submit’, the user is navigated to the next question.
The question will appear as shown:
You can also change the words ‘Submit’ and ‘Cancel’. To do this, select the question, click on the gear icon, and then click on ‘Bottom Bar’. Under ‘Check Button’ and ‘Clear Button’, you can edit the text. In this example, it has been changed to ‘OK’ and ‘CANCEL’.
