Tags

When creating a new project, you can add tags to categorize the project and make it easier to find. Tags can also be added to participants, allowing you to easily associate individuals with a project.

Creating Tags

In the left menu, go to ‘Tags’. You will now see an overview of ‘Tag Type’ and ‘Tags’.

Under ‘Tag Type’, you can create a new tag by clicking on ‘+ Add new record’. You can then name the tag, set its status to active or inactive, and see when and by whom the tag was last modified.

Under ‘Tags’, you can create subcategories. For example, under the tag “Location,” you might have subcategories like Almelo and Hengelo. To create these subcategories, click on ‘+ Add new record’. You can then select the tag and name the subcategory.

Linking Tags to a Project or Participant

To add a tag to a project, click on ‘New Project’ or ‘Edit’ if the project already exists. Under ‘Tags’, select the appropriate tag. You can assign multiple tags to a project.

To add a tag to a participant, go to ‘Settings’ and ‘Participants’ in the left menu. Click on ‘+ Create New Participant’ or the pencil icon next to an existing participant. Under ‘Tags’, select the appropriate tag. You can assign multiple tags to a participant.

Good to Know

If the tags for the participant and the project do not match, the project cannot be distributed. Make sure all participants have the correct project tag. If you want to share projects with various tags with a broad group of participants, consider not using tags.
