Automatically play video

When you have added a video to a page and want it to play automatically when the page is viewed, follow these steps:

Open the page settings for the page where the video is embedded. Access the timeline of the page. You can do this by double-clicking on the page on the right side of your screen. Click the ‘VIEW’ button next to ‘Timeline’.

Click on ‘Add keyframe’.

Select the time at which you want the video to start playing. If you choose 00:00:00, the video will start playing as soon as the page is active. If you want it to start with a delay, enter the delay time.

Click on ‘ADD ACTION’ and select ‘Play Video’. You can give the action a name. Select the video file in ‘Target’. Save your action by clicking ‘CONFIRM’.

Note: Some browsers do not allow autoplay. In such cases, the user must perform a so-called “manual interaction” before a video will consistently play properly, and the user must actively grant permission to automatically play media.
