Uploading and trimming videos

Uploading the video

In LesLinq, you can easily upload a YouTube, Vimeo, or your own video. First, open the project in LesLinq. Then, click on ‘Uploads’ in the left menu, followed by clicking on the blue circle with three dots and selecting ‘Video’.

When you click on ‘Add Video’, you can choose to either record a video directly in LesLinq (Record Video) or select Vimeo or YouTube.

Select Vimeo or YouTube. You can now paste the link of the video you want to integrate into LesLinq.

The video will now appear on your canvas. When you double-click on the video on the canvas, the property panel will appear. This provides several options to customize the video.

You can choose to toggle Video Controls, Auto Play, or Audio on or off. Additionally, you can set transparency, x- and y-values, and dimensions. And of course, you can configure various animation options.

Moreover, you can add different ‘Actions’ to various timeframes via the Timeline. For example, you can set the video to pause after 10 seconds, display a question after 15 seconds, navigate to a specific page, etc.

Trimming the video

In the property panel, click on ‘Video segments’. Enter the desired times and click ‘Add’. LesLinq will then trim the video to the specified times.
