Creating a text-to-speech file

In LesLinq, you can easily record your own audio or add text to speech to the project (separate license required). First, open your project in LesLinq. Then, click on ‘Uploads’ in the left menu, click on the blue circle with three dots, and select ‘Audio’.

When you click on ‘Add Audio,’ you can choose to either record audio within LesLinq (Record Audio) or add text to speech.

To create an audio file where text is read aloud, choose the text to speech option. You can type the desired text into the text box at the bottom. Under ‘Language,’ you can specify the desired language. You can also select the voice that will read the text under ‘Voice.’

Once the text is correct, click the play button. Is everything to your liking? Then click the button that appears to save the audio file. Don’t forget to give it a name, as this will make it easier to find later.

After saving, the file will appear in the audio files section.

By clicking on the file and dragging it into the project, you place the file on a page. Want to add special actions to the audio file? Check out Actions. Do you want the text on the page to be read aloud directly via text-to-speech? Then take a look at Adding and Editing Text.
